Easing team member onboarding? 🤔
My close work mates call me by my surname, Pybus, but only 1/10 participants actually pass the test and get the pronunciation right first time…
So, back in 2010 with User-Centricity in my blood, I designed the pie-bus logo to help take the awkwardness out of that first interaction, helping people to speak with confidence without the fear of a fumbled mispronunciation at any step in our working relationship.
Alas even so, you never really know what you’re going to hear on that first attempt…
- Pee-Bus
- P-you-bus
- Pi-boos
- F-eye-bus
- Pie-viss
I’d like to think I’ve heard them all by now… so has my experiment failed, or are the laughs I’ve heard when people see what the logo means, just a sign that my metrics were wrong in the first place? 🙂
